Friday, Dec 1
6:00 ~ 9:00 PM Tree lighting ceremony at the Gazebo
and Bake Sale at Town Hall
Santa arrives on a fire engine, the Giving tree will be there and the Village Choir will perform.
A Christmas tree lot opens ~ food trucks ~The Methodist Church will provide free hot chocolate and cookies ~ The Eastern Star will be serving coneys for donations ~ Crafters and shops will be open.
Those entering the Gingerbread contest must have their entry submitted to the Community Center by 5:00 pm
Saturday, Dec 2
8:00 am ~ noon Breakfast with Santa presented by the Mt.
Sterling Eagles Youth League at the Mt. Sterling Community Center.
12:00 ~ 6:00 Christmas tree lot opens ~ food trucks ~The Methodist Church will provide free hot chocolate and cookies ~ The Eastern Star will be serving coneys for donations ~ Crafters and shops will be open.
2:00 PM Fairy Gardener class at the Mad Hatter
6:00 PM The parade of lights forms on New St. and will parade down London St. (Anyone is invited to light up their car, truck or anything else and join in)

2:00 PM ~ 4:00 PM Christmas in the Village at the Mount
Sterling Community Center
2:00 pm Ugly Sweater Contest (Presented by the Mt. Sterling Community Center)
Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus ~ Horse-Drawn wagon ride ~ Mt. Sterling Library Crafts ~ Music by the First United Methodist Bell Choir ~ Christmas Past Display by The Mt. Sterling Community Museum ~ Make a Christmas greeting for Veterans ~ Gingerbread House Contest Winner Announced ~ All children will receive a gift
Residential and Business decorating contest will be judged. Winners will be announced on Monday Dec.5. Residential winners will receive $ 100.00 for 1st place, $ 50.00 for 2nd and $ 25.00 for 3rd. Business winners are competing for bragging rights. Please have your outside lights on by 7:00 PM if you wish to be judged. Residents of McClimansville and Burr Oaks are included.
